ACCPRO in Ireland is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a hands-on finance team, with exposure to full day-to-day accounting and close collaboration with a supportive Financial Controller. The role follows a hybrid pattern (2 days work from home per week) to balance hands-on work with flexible arrangements.

Key responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, processing supplier invoices, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end, and assisting with payroll.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE.
• Experience in practice or industry accounting roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily financial records including bank reconciliations, invoice processing, expenses and revenue checks.
• Process supplier invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy, timely payment and up-to-date records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable administration including invoice tracking, following up on missing documentation and maintaining accurate ledgers.
• Complete bank and cash reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end processes by preparing journals, reconciliations, schedules and reports.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support payroll preparation.
