Job summary

Coopman Search & Selection are partnering with a leading aviation advisory firm recruiting a Financial Accountant to join their Shannon, Co. Clare team. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting and client services in a dynamic aviation finance environment.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with up to 2 years post-qualification experience and strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
• Up to 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in corporate services or accounting practice is preferred.

• On-boarding of clients and set-up of structures for tailored services.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-boarding of clients and set-up of structures for delivery of tailored services in
• accordance with individual client requirements
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Prepare consolidated financial statements

Core competencies:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Up to 2 years post qualification experience, preferably in the corporate services industry or accounting practice.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and client servicing skills.
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Results oriented.
• Audit experience is advantageous, but not desired.
• Highly organised with an eye for detail.
