CJ Hiring is recruiting a Financial Accountant in the Galway area for a 15 month maternity cover contract with a view to permanent position. You will support the finance function with financial reporting and day-to-day accounting, working within a busy team to contribute to the month end process.

The role suits a qualified or part-qualified accountant who can manage deadlines, maintain reconciliations and deliver accurate financial information for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least one year of post graduate accounting experience gained in Ireland.
• A relevant accounting qualification or progress towards one.
• Strong Excel skills and careful attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Construction industry experience is preferred but is not essential.
