Job summary

LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice, seeks a proactive Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Dublin. You will support both fundraising and clinical teams by providing clear insights, improving processes, and helping colleagues understand the financial impact of their work.

You will excel in Excel and contribute to budgeting, variance analysis and month-end close. This permanent, full-time role offers 35 hours per week with flexible working options, a strong induction programme,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA credentials.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience within the last 7 years.
• Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear financial insights to fundraising and clinical teams.
• Support month-end close, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Develop and streamline financial processes to improve efficiency.

Salary: €61,219 - €79,583

You will play a key role in the organisation supporting both our fundraising team and clinical teams by providing clear insights, improving processes, and helping colleagues understand the financial impact of their work. Essential Criteria - the successful candidate will possess the following:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
