Job summary

Eirkoo, a multinational organisation, seeks a qualified Financial Accountant to join its Dublin finance function on a 15 month contract in a city centre location. You will operate in a multi-currency, international environment with exposure to group reporting and treasury.

The role offers strong exposure to P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, consolidation, audits and budgeting within a complex accounting framework.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA credentials or equivalent.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Experience in a corporate accounting environment, ideally within a large multinational.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly group reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and accruals.
• Supporting semi-annual consolidation and analysis of group financial results.
• Managing monthly intercompany reconciliations.
• Overseeing general accounting, VAT and tax matters.
• Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts.
• Supporting automated accounting processes and treasury/accounting system integration.
• Assisting with annual audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Contributing to Group Treasury projects and process automation.

We’re working with a well-established multinational organisation that is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its finance function in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work in a multi-currency, international environment, with strong exposure to group reporting, treasury and financial management.

The Role

• Preparing monthly group reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and accruals

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or CPA 1-3 years PQE
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Experience in a corporate accounting environment, ideally within a large multinational
• Experience working in a multi-currency environment
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles
• SAP experience is highly advantageous
• Treasury or financial services exposure would be beneficial
• Knowledge of mark-to-market/fair value accounting is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Professional level English
