Job summary

Primark is seeking a Senior Finance Transformation Manager for an 18-month fixed-term contract based in Dublin. You will lead finance transformation initiatives, ensure governance, delivery readiness and cross-functional alignment across the business, while coaching teams and managing dependencies.

You will partner with Tax, F&A, Treasury and Operations to deliver scalable finance improvements and maintain disciplined delivery through robust governance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education, professional accounting qualification advantageous.
• 10+ years in senior transformation, programme delivery and people leadership.
• Experience with strategic growth, separation, integration, and plc-readiness is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automation, BI, data analytics, governance improvement and business readiness is advantageous.
• Accreditation or practitioner experience in Transformation, Change Management or Project Management (APMG, PMI CAPM/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Product Owner, etc.) would be advantageous.
• Strong financial and analytical acumen with ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Finance operational lead for major strategic initiatives across Primark.
• Represent Finance Transformation on priority projects, detailing requirements, risks and delivery impacts.
• Lead onboarding of new initiatives into Finance with input from teams.
• Translate project objectives into Finance delivery requirements, milestones and governance.
• Provide senior oversight and coaching to Finance Transformation teams.
• Coordinate input from Finance SMEs across Tax, F&A, Treasury, Controls, Operations.
• Identify and deliver Finance improvements across people, process, systems, data and controls.
• Collaborate with People & Culture, Legal, Technology and other functions.
• Maintain disciplined Finance delivery with RAID, status reporting and dependencies.
• Embed governance framework with stakeholder engagement and visible decisions.
• Escalate and resolve blockers impacting momentum.
