Job summary

Trócaire is seeking a Systems Accountant to modernise finance systems, strengthen processes and reporting, and support better decision‑making across the organisation. You will work across Finance, Enterprise Systems, country offices and external suppliers, translating needs into practical solutions while improving controls, data quality and efficiency.

The role involves shaping the systems roadmap, managing key improvement priorities and enabling confident use of finance tools by colleagues

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong accounting processes, controls and reporting expertise.
• Experience delivering finance system improvements, ERP changes or upgrades, and working with finance users.

Responsibilities

• Modernise and strengthen finance systems, processes and reporting across Finance, Enterprise Systems, country offices and suppliers.
• Translate finance needs into practical solutions to improve controls and data quality and reduce manual work.
• Shape the finance systems roadmap and manage agreed improvement priorities across Trócaire.
• Support colleagues across the organisation to use finance systems confidently and effectively.
