Job summary

CMS Distribution in Ireland is seeking a Finance Officer to join our fast-paced finance team, supporting General Ledger activities, management accounts, and month-end processes.

You will review and analyse financial transactions across GL, accounts payable/receivable, banking and treasury, VAT compliance, and fixed asset reporting. The role demands strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a substantial workload in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in finance with general ledger and management accounts exposure.
• Ability to handle a significant workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts and accruals/prepayments.
• Assist in preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and depreciation journals.
• Support month-end close, reporting and overviews for cost centres.
• Assist with year-end audit documentation and statutory reporting.
• Support maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and financial systems.
