Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead revenue accounting for our global clinical trial portfolio, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, robust reporting, and continuous process improvements within a hybrid Dublin-based role.

Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with Big 4 trained or industry experience.
- Experience in revenue accounting and ASC 606 guidance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations and internal controls.
- Ability to mentor and collaborate across functions.
Responsibilities
- Review revenue recognition for clinical trial contracts under US GAAP ASC 606.
- Prepare and report monthly revenue with supporting analyses.
- Maintain revenue schedules and reconciliations.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end close for accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with policies, controls and audits.
- Serve as SME in revenue recognition and Oracle Financials; mentor team.
