Job summary

Barden is recruiting a Financial Controller to own day-to-day controllership as the business scales in West Dublin. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance and internal controls while guiding a small finance team through meaningful change.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong Irish tax experience, ERP SAP proficiency, and leadership capabilities in a dynamic environment. This is a full-time role based in West Dublin.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and 4+ years PQE.
• Practical experience with Irish tax compliance.
• Experience building and developing a small finance team.
• Strong ERP experience (SAP preferred) with advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close, including management accounts and board pack.
• Lead statutory financial statements and external audit relationship.
• Oversee Irish tax compliance: VAT, Intrastat, VIES, CT and Deferred Tax.
• Supervise AP/AR, cash forecasting, treasury, and FX management.
