Job summary

Barden is partnering with the CFO of a growing international business to hire a Financial Controller who will lead the finance team and own the full finance function. The role offers exposure to reporting, treasury, strategy and a seat near key decision-making.

Working closely with the CFO, you will manage monthly management accounts, audit processes, systems improvements and cross‑jurisdictional compliance in an international trading environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 5 to 10 years' experience at a senior level.
• Experience in group finance, commercial finance, or financial control.
• Experience leading or developing finance team members.
• Confident communicator, comfortable with stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual management accounts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
• Manage day-to-day treasury operations, cashflow forecasting, and FX exposure.
• Own the annual audit process and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Enhance financial systems, processes and controls.
• Contribute to financial planning and strategic decision-making.
