Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Dublin and surrounding counties. You will carry out planned maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on a range of lift systems in commercial and residential settings.

Qualifications

• Experience as Lift Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Qualified electricians with strong maintenance background encouraged to apply.
• Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Background working on lifts/elevators/platform lifts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lift systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs.
• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Support minor modernisation and upgrade projects.
• Assist with commissioning and testing activities.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.

THE COMPANY:

A well-established specialist engineering company providing installation, maintenance and repair services for lifts across Ireland.

With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service, the business works across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, supporting a growing portfolio of home lifts, platform lifts, goods lifts and accessibility solutions. Continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join the Leinster service team.

THE ROLE:

This is a field-based service position covering Dublin and surrounding counties. The successful engineer will carry out planned maintenance, fault-finding and repair work across a wide range of lift systems.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lift systems
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs
• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs
• Support minor modernisation and upgrade projects
• Assist with commissioning and testing activities
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
• Develop strong relationships with customers and site contacts

THE PERSON:

This role is ideal for an experienced Lift Engineer, but the company is also open to candidates with strong electro-mechanical service backgrounds who are looking to specialise within the lift industry.

• Experience as a Lift Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Qualified electricians with a strong maintenance background are encouraged to apply
• Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Background working on lifts, elevators, platform lifts or similar electro-mechanical equipment is highly desirable
• Candidates from industrial maintenance, field service or building services backgrounds may also be considered
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
• Full driving licence required

THE PACKAGE:

• €65,000 salary for lift industry experience
• €55,000 + for Electricians looking to break into the Lift industry

LOCATION:
