Job summary

Grupo Orona in Dublin is seeking a qualified Lift Testing Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will conduct commissioning and testing of completed lift installations and witness tests to ensure compliance with Irish standards.

The role requires nationwide travel, a full clean Irish driving licence, and excellent customer service and reporting skills. We offer a competitive salary, pension, benefits, and opportunities to upskill.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 or equivalent Lift Tester / Technician experience.
• Good working knowledge of all lift types/makes.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Experience carrying out all jobs in a safe and thoughtful manner.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Good technical reporting and communication skills.
• Full Clean Irish Driving Licence.
• Travel nationwide will be a requirement for this role.
• Eligibility to Work in Ireland is a must.

Responsibilities

Travel nationwide will be required for this role.

Key responsibilities/duties:

• Conduct & deliver the commissioning/testing of completed installations to meet the site programme
• Witness testing as required
• Ensure new lift installations are fully tested and compliant with the current Irish Standards.
• Fault finding and ability to resolve problematic issues.
• Provide technical support to other engineers across the business, including service.
• Handing over of lifts
