Job summary

Technify Talent is seeking Field Service Engineers to provide hands-on technical support at customer sites in Leixlip, Ireland. This role covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You will diagnose issues using digital tools, perform preventative maintenance, interpret schematics, and work with customers to maximize performance and uptime in a 24/7 shift environment. On-site training will be provided.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline.
Experience in field service, customer support or a similar technical engineering role.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding experience.
Practical understanding of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
Comfortable using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and upgrade advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using digital diagnostic and analytical tools.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, vacuum, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.
Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to identify and resolve technical faults.
Work directly with customers to maximise equipment performance and uptime.
Take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
Support critical customer operations within a 24/7 shift environment.
