Finning (Ireland) Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the EP Team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar equipment at customer sites, preparing detailed service notes, and collaborating with customers to develop quotes within budget and time constraints.

Key duties include on-site arrival and safety adherence, parts identification and delivery planning, and producing accurate service reports.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across levels of the business.
• Self-motivated, dynamic and able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Good planning and organisational skills under tight deadlines.
• Analytical problem-solving capabilities to diagnose equipment issues.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site repairs and service in line with customer requirements.
• Diagnose equipment faults and communicate findings to customer and Finning for quotes.
• Identify parts and delivery timelines to plan re-visits if needed.
• Complete service reports and warranty documentation to support billing.
