Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair glass-lined and process equipment for customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. This hands-on role involves regular travel across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, a full driver's license, and a qualified background in mechanical fitting or engineering. Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, or drive systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills required.
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, test, and commission glass-lined process equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical overhauls.
• Support site acceptance tests (SAT), upgrades, and retrofits.
