Job summary

Innovo Global Talent is seeking a permanent Field Service Engineer to join our client in the south of Ireland. You will provide reactive mechanical and electrical repairs to automated conveyors and autoloaders in FMCG warehouses, traveling to customer sites with a company van and tools.

As a frontline technician, you will diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance, while maintaining safety and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience on large machinery in FMCG or logistics environments.
• Mechanical and electrical qualifications such as HND/HNC, Apprenticeship, or equivalent.
• Electrical certifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395, or EAL Inspection and Testing.
• Strong faultfinding, troubleshooting and repair on conveyors, autoloaders or similar automation equipment.
• Reactive maintenance, breakdown support and preventive maintenance experience.
• Full Ireland-wide site visits with a valid driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Commitment to health and safety and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

Field Service Engineer – Intralogistics

Our client, a leading Intralogistics company, is seeking a dedicated Permanent Field Service Engineer to join their team in the south of Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing reactive mechanical and electrical repairs to automated material handling equipment, including conveyors and autoloaders, within FMCG warehouses. As a key front-line technician, you will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Supplied with a company van and cutting-edge tools, you will work closely with the service support team to deliver outstanding service and customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role that demands technical expertise, a proactive approach, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

• Experience working on large machinery in FMCG or logistics environments with an electrical bias.
• Mechanical and electrical qualifications such as HND/HNC, Apprenticeship, or equivalent.
