Job summary

NPP GROUP LTD, Specialists in Flexible Packaging, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair packaging systems at client sites across Ireland. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and service team to ensure smooth project delivery and ongoing training with suppliers.

The role offers progression within a fast-growing company and requires strong diagnostic, calibration and installation skills, plus a full driving license.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical or electrical installation engineer.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Packaging machinery industry experience.
• Flexible to change in equipment and machines.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to install, service, calibrate and repair packaging systems.
• Communicate with suppliers and OEMs.
• Assist installation of packaging systems at new and existing sites.
• Work with project managers and account managers for on-time delivery.
• On-site field/service experience with machine installation, servicing, calibrations and repairs.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
• Hold a full, clean driving license.

Job description

NPP is seeking to hire an ambitious and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will assist in the installation, servicing, calibration and repairs of packaging systems into new and existing customer sites.

The role offers a good opportunity for progression in a fast-growing company. Attending ongoing training with suppliers is a feature of this role.

Role & Responsibilities

• Attend client’s site to complete installation, servicing, calibrations and repairs of packaging systems.
• Communicate with established supply partners and OEMs.
• Assist in the installation of packaging systems into new and existing client base.
• Work closely with the project manager, the account managers and the wider service team in the smooth delivery of customer projects and targets.
• On site field/service experience dealing with machine installation, servicing, calibrations and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full clean driving license.

Skills & Experience

• Ideally the successful candidate will be an experienced qualified mechanical / electrical installation engineer.
• Minimum of year’s 3 years relevant experience.
• Packaging machinery industry experience.
• Flexible to change in equipment and machines.
