Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Group is seeking a field service technician to diagnose faults, repair and install home appliances, and deliver high-quality customer service across our Dublin-area sites. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-moving service environment.

You will travel to customer locations, perform repairs, and maintain equipment while adhering to health and safety standards. A strong engineering background and a valid driving licence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical, mechanical and engineering knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and fix faults.

• Full, valid driving licence and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and installations- diagnose faults and carry out repairs, modifications, and re-installations of home appliances to ensure first-time resolution.
• Deliver excellent customer service- advise customers on correct product usage, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong relationships with customers and support teams.
• Maintain compliance and safety- work within company policies, ensure a safe working environment, and adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Manage tools and inventory. Keep van stock, tools, and equipment in good condition, safeguard company property, and report unusual defects.
• Continuous learning and team contribution. Attend training courses, stay updated on technical information, and support colleagues’ development when required.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform Repairs and Installations- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, modifications, and re-installations of home appliances to ensure first-time resolution.
