Job summary

Stem Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Field Electrical Instrumentation Technician for onsite work across Kildare, Dublin and Wicklow in a growing Irish engineering firm. You will fault-find, maintain and calibrate instrumentation on industrial motors, pumps and control systems, with full training provided.

Enjoy regular daytime hours, no on-call, and paid travel. Progress into senior instrumentation roles with ongoing development and support from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 2 to 10+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience working within water, wastewater, utilities, process plants or industrial control systems is advantageous.
• Full clean driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical fault finding, maintenance and servicing on industrial motors, pumps, booster sets, control panels and instrumentation equipment.
• Calibrate, test and commission instrumentation, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Support customers, responding to planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
• Build strong customer relationships and become the trusted face of the employer across your territory.
• Manage your own daily schedule with support from experienced engineers, especially in the first months.
• Complete electronic service reports and maintain accurate job records using the company laptop.
• Receive extensive training in instrumentation, industrial process systems and electro-mechanical equipment.
