Job summary

Nomad Foods is seeking a proactive Factory IT Manager to lead IT across Naas and Longford, owning the local IT roadmap and driving technology strategy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations and external suppliers to ensure secure, resilient systems, manage budgets and deliver value through IT projects and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A relevant IT qualification is required.
• Strong technical knowledge across IT infrastructure, systems and technologies.
• Experience supporting IT in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships across all business levels.
• ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred.
• Experience working with SAP environments.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Factory IT Manager to join the Goodfella's business in Ireland. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will take ownership of the IT function across multiple sites, acting as the key technology leader and trusted partner to the local business. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term technology strategy while supporting critical manufacturing systems that keep our factories running efficiently

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT function across the Goodfella's manufacturing operations in Naas and Longford.
• Develop and deliver the local IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with both site requirements and the wider Nomad Foods technology strategy.
• Act as a key member of the leadership team, helping shape business decisions through technology and digital innovation.
• Oversee third-party IT service providers and ensure high levels of service performance and delivery.
• Manage critical factory systems, network infrastructure, mobile devices, telephony systems, servers and local IT equipment.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex IT issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
• Drive cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery processes across the OT Environment.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Group IT and external suppliers to maintain resilient and secure systems.
• Manage the IT budget and identify opportunities to optimise technology investments while delivering business value.
• Support technology projects, software testing, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

About you

We're looking for a proactive and versatile IT leader who is equally comfortable discussing strategy with senior stakeholders as they are resolving technical challenges on-site.

You’ll ideally have:

• A relevant qualification in IT or a related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of IT infrastructure, systems and technologies.
• Previous experience supporting IT within a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions in a changing environment.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and service providers.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality IT services.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems and factory operations.
• ITIL knowledge or certification.
• Experience working with SAP environments.
