Job summary

Atlantach Technical Services in Athlone is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to oversee complex facilities, utilities and infrastructure projects across a GMP-regulated medical device manufacturing site. The role requires managing scope, budgets and schedules while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

You will liaise with Operations, Engineering, Quality and external contractors to deliver compliant upgrades to HVAC, cleanrooms, water systems and building services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in facilities project management in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with GMP, FDA, ISO requirements.
• Experience coordinating contractors and validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of facilities and infrastructure projects with minimal GMP disruption.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, FDA/ISO, and environmental regulations.
• Manage upgrades across manufacturing, lab, warehouse, and offices including cleanrooms.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Validation, EHS, and vendors.
• Develop scopes, budgets, timelines, and milestones for projects.
• Oversee contractors, commissioning, and validation activities with permit-to-work controls.
