Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Mechanical Technical Plumber to join our facilities management team in Dublin 2. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems within modern corporate buildings.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards. The candidate should be a fully qualified plumber with a strong background in water systems, with at least 3 years post-qualification experience and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified plumber with a recognised trade qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a commercial or facilities setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water treatment, and building services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage and sanitary systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs promptly to minimise disruption to building operations.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in a facilities team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work, materials used and system conditions.
• Support other trades and team members as required to deliver high-quality service.
• Carry out ad hoc facilities tasks such as FCU motor replacements, HVAC filter cleans, painting and desk moves.
• Participate in an on-call rota for emergency response and out-of-hours work.
