Apleona Ireland is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Plumbing Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in Dublin 2.   • Strong skills in Equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair for plumbing systems and related building services.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, with the ability to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance within commercial, pharmaceutical, or similar technical facilities environments.
  • Recognized plumbing qualification or trade certification, with relevant apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and best practices for safe work on live sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Full, clean driving license and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work or emergency call-outs considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Facilities Maintenance Plumbing Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dublin 2, responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in a commercial facilities environment. Day-to-day duties include performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on domestic and industrial plumbing installations, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of water, drainage, and heating systems. The role involves carrying out preventive maintenance tasks, supporting wider building maintenance activities, and coordinating with other technical team members and site management to minimize downtime for clients. The technician will document work completed, adhere to health and safety procedures, follow company and client compliance standards, and respond to call-outs and service requests within agreed timeframes. Collaboration with contractors and vendors, maintaining tools and equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement of maintenance processes are also key aspects of the position.



Qualifications
