Job summary

Savills Ireland seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to join the facilities management team at a landmark Dublin site. You will support day-to-day operations, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves tracking maintenance requests, coordinating works, and assisting with emergency procedures while maintaining the site to high ESG and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Regular inspections to identify operational issues and areas for improvement.
• Familiarity with common plant and equipment used on site.
• Ensure facilities meet compliance standards and safety regulations.
• Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Tracking incoming maintenance requests & scheduling required works.
• Supervise and coordinate third party contractors attending site and inspect works after.
• Attend to reactive and preventative general maintenance when required – to include painting / plumbing / ad-hoc repairs.
• Assist with operational logistics.
• Advise cleaners with respect to additional spillages or staining noted during day-to-day visits.
• Work alongside the facilities and onsite team to ensure that all equipment is maintained and serviced in accordance with the scheduled maintenance plan.
• Review quotes and give approvals for work to be carried out.
• Contractor management and tracking completion of work.
• Key Management
• Deal with conflict situations professionally and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify issues and areas for improvement.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and planned maintenance.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements and fire safety regulations.
• Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures
• Reporting issues to the facilities manager and helping resolve them.
• Assisting in event set ups and room changes.
