Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations at a Kilkenny manufacturing facility. The role oversees all facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and site services to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable site performance.

You will manage a 40+ person team of employees and contractors, drive continuous improvement, oversight of GMP compliance, budgets, and major expansion projects, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, EHS,

Qualifications

• Significant facilities leadership experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience managing facilities budgets and capital planning.
• Proven track record delivering facility expansions or major projects.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, quality, compliance, and EHS requirements.
• Experience overseeing utilities, site infrastructure, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities operations, utilities, infrastructure, and engineering support services.
• Ensure reliability, compliance, and performance of key site systems and assets.
• Manage facilities budgets, asset management, contractor performance, and outsourced providers.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on operational excellence, sustainability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Lead strategic discussions and ensure facilities priorities support business objectives.
• Support planning and delivery of major site expansion, infrastructure, and capital investment projects.
• Explore innovations and sustainability initiatives to enhance site capability.
• Maintain GMP, EHS, regulatory, and corporate standards.
• Lead and develop a facilities organisation of 40+ employees and contractors.
