Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Caretaker for our team at BAM FM in Waterford. The successful candidate will maintain communal areas, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with external agencies to ensure safety, cleanliness, and smooth site operations.

Start times vary with weekly rotating evening work. A full driving licence and health & safety awareness are required, with opportunities for training and career development within a large European facilities management group.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ similar experience.
• Good level of general DIY repairs skills.
• Full current driving licence.
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas clean to a high standard.
• Complete cleaning schedules for communal areas.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report repairs and hazards, and liaise with contractors.
• Monitor waste disposal with housing and refuse services.
• Attend training relevant to the role and promote BAM in activities.
