Job summary

Un1f1ed Global Packaging is seeking a hands-on Facilities/Maintenance Assistant to help keep a clean, safe production floor and support general site upkeep. You will apply safety tape, assist managers, perform cleaning, minor repairs, and may drive to collect parts or deliver items on site.

Responsibilities

• Apply, maintain, and replace safety tape and hazard lines to designate walkways, storage zones, and workspaces.
• Assist Production Manager and Team Leaders in keeping the production floor clear of clutter, scraps and hazards.
• Assist in cleanup of spills, water damage, etc.
• Prep and paint building areas internally and externally, and machinery as required.
• Support maintenance with minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning inside and outside the building; pressure wash docks, facades, walkways, and entryways; remove rubbish.
• Drive the company van to pick up parts/tools, deliver products or equipment to clients or hubs.
• Shuttle employees, visitors, or clients between buildings, airports, transit centers, etc.
• When required – carry out production work across all production teams.
• Interact with other departments as required.
• Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Apply, maintain, and replace safety tape and hazard lines to designate walkways, storage zones, and workspaces.
• Assist Production Manager and Team Leaders in maintaining the production floor continuously clear of clutter, manufacturing scraps, and hazards.
• Assist in the clean up of any areas due to spillage, water damage etc.
• Prep and paint building areas both internally and externally, and any machinery, equipment etc. as required.
• Support and assist maintenance team in carrying out minor repairs
• Routine cleaning work inside and outside the building - Pressure wash loading docks, building facades, walkways, and entryways, Pull and treat weeds along the building perimeter, fences, and parking lot cracks, sweep exterior paths steps, and waste areas to remove rubbish and debris.
• Drive the company van or car to pick up parts, tools, or supplies from local vendors, Deliver products, documents, or equipment safely and securely to clients or nearby hubs, Shuttle employees, visitors, or clients between company buildings, airports, transit centers etc.
• When required - carry out production work as required across all production teams
• Interact with other departments as required
• Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
