Job summary

Autism A Chara is seeking a dedicated Facilitator to provide person-centred support to adults with autism across residential, respite, and day services. The role emphasizes independent initiative, compassionate care, and strong communication within a multi-disciplinary team.

The position requires a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification, the ability to plan programmes, and a valid Irish driver’s licence. Evening/weekend work rates apply, with excellent career development opportunities.

Qualifications

Essential criteria for the position of Facilitator:

A full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential
Awareness of Key Worker/ Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs
Programme Planning Person Centred Plans
Availability to work shifts on a rota basis
Full, clean Irish drivers licence desirable with requirement to drive service vehicles
Permission to work in Ireland essential

Qualifications required for a Facilitator:

A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential, (e.g. health, community, care sector) but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Facilitator. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.
