Job summary

ISD728 is seeking a Community Education/Program Coordinator to supervise staff and operations at extended day enrichment sites, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children and communicating with parents and schools.

The role includes planning activities, organizing materials, managing attendance and registrations, training and evaluating staff, and coordinating with managers to promote programs and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related area with 1,040 hours of elementary-age child experience.
• High school diploma or GED plus 2,080 hours of related experience with elementary-age children.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with parents, children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of extended day enrichment sites to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Coordinate with Managers and office staff on marketing and timely enrollment.
• Organize age-appropriate activities and materials for participants.
• Maintain attendance records and data privacy.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff or volunteers.
• Ensure proper staff scheduling and maintain class/group ratios.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and staff about program benefits.
