Job summary

The Wright Group is seeking an experienced Wait Staff member to join our team in a fast-paced airport bar/restaurant environment in Dublin. We value reliable, customer-focused individuals with at least 2 years in busy hospitality and a readiness to work early shifts from 3am.

Excellent communication, presentation and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting are essential to succeed. Garda vetting and a valid Irish work permit are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• A desire to provide a consistently high standard of customer service.
• The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• 2 years' experience in a busy bar or hospitality setting.
• Flexibility with regards to hours, as late nights are involved.
• A good command of the English language.
• Impeccable self-presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• Ensure guests are acknowledged and warmly welcomed to the restaurant and bar.
• Maintain knowledge on menu offerings including wine, beverages, and desserts.
• Serve Food and Beverage products efficiently and in line with presentation standards.
• Prepare and set up food, bar, and dining areas before and after service.
• Participate in all training.
• Maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude with guests and colleagues.
• Carry out cash handling procedures according to company policy.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• To provide excellent, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• To ensure that guests are acknowledged and warmly welcomed to the restaurant and bar.
• To maintain a high level of knowledge on product offerings; including menu's, wine's, hot and cold beverages, and desserts.
• To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the managers high standards of presentation.
• To ensure that the food restaurant, bar and all food & beverage areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
• To participate in all training.
• To maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude with both guests and your colleagues.
• To carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.

Please note that as we are based in Dublin Airport, we work based on shift work. You will be expected to work early morning shifts starting from 3am
