Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Dublin Airport is seeking an experienced Wait Staff member for a fast-paced airport bar/restaurant environment. The role requires at least 2 years’ experience in busy hospitality, delivering excellent customer service and handling cash with professionalism.

The ideal candidate will welcome guests warmly, maintain product knowledge, and support high standards of presentation across food and beverage service. Garda Vetting and a 5-year background check apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a busy hospitality/bar setting.
• Excellent customer service and guest handling.
• Good command of English and presentable appearance.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts, including 3am starts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• Acknowledge guests and warmly welcome them to the restaurant and bar.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, wines, beverages and desserts.
• Ensure food & beverage are served with high standards of presentation.
• Prepare and reset the restaurant, bar and areas for service and after service.
• Participate in all training and maintain a positive professional attitude.
• Carry out cash handling procedures per company policy.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Wait Staff member to join our team in a fast-paced airport bar/restaurant environment.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a busy bar or hospitality setting who thrives under pressure and delivers excellent customer service.

• To provide excellent, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• To ensure that guests are acknowledged and warmly welcomed to the restaurant and bar.
• To maintain a high level of knowledge on product offerings; including menu’s, wine’s, hot and cold beverages, and desserts.
• To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the managers high standards of presentation.
• To ensure that the food restaurant, bar and all food & beverage areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
• To participate in all training.
• To maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude with both guests and your colleagues.
• To carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

Please note that as we are based in Dublin Airport, we work based on shift work. You will be expected to work early morning shifts starting from 3am
