Job summary

Castle Quarry Crushing & Plant Hire Ltd requires multiple CNC Operator roles for their premises at Brooklodge Demesne, Ballyglunin, Co. Galway. The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €40,000 based on a 39-hour week.

Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. CNC Operator sets up and operates computerised machines by loading materials and tools, running pre-programmed instructions, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred with technical/vocational training.
• Relevant experience in machinery operations is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and CAD designs.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and machine safety protocols.
• Ability to use PPE correctly, understand lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate computerised CNC machines, load materials and tools.
• Run pre-programmed instructions and monitor processes for quality.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools to verify specs.
• Perform routine maintenance, tool changes and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot operational issues while maintaining production records.
