Job summary

Fox Bros. Engineering Limited in Gorey, Co. Wexford, is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for immediate start. The role requires setting up and programming CNC machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safety in production.

An average annual remuneration of €36,605 with a pay rate of €18.05 per hour is offered. Minimum 39 hours per week in a manufacturing setting, with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ CNC operation experience.
There are no minimum academic requirements.
A CNC or related certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and control CNC machines to execute production orders accurately and efficiently.
Program CNC machines, ensuring required parameters, tolerances, and measurements are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Monitor automated machines to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
Perform test runs to verify machine settings and ensure product quality.
Remove processed workpieces and inspect finished products for accuracy and defects.
Remove and report inadequate or non-conforming workpieces.
Set up machine controllers and supply machines with appropriate tools and materials.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
Ensure equipment availability and readiness for scheduled production.
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
