Job summary

Priority Drilling Limited are recruiting CNC Operators to join their team in Killimor, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 N7F2. Salary range is €36,605–€54,000 per year, based on a 39-hour week and experience.

As a CNC Operator you will set up and operate pre-programmed machines, read drawings/ CAD designs, inspect parts with measuring tools, perform routine maintenance, and maintain safety and production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/Vocational CNC training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and CAD designs.
• Commitment to safety regulations and clean production records.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines following pre-programmed instructions.
• Load materials/tools, monitor machine for smooth operation and quality.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools and maintain tooling.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.

Priority Drilling Limited are currently recruiting CNC Operators to join their team at Killimor, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 N7F2.The salary range is €36,605 (€18.05 per hour) to €54,000, based on a 39-hour working week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.CNC Operator sets up and operates computerized machines that precisely cut and shape metal or plastic parts by loading materials and tools, running pre-programmed instructions, and continuously monitoring the machine to ensure smooth operation. The operator inspects finished parts with measuring tools to verify exact specifications, performs routine maintenance like cleaning and tool changes, and troubleshoots any operational issues while following strict safety protocols and maintaining production records. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with technical or vocational training in CNC operations, machining, or manufacturing being highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs. Thorough knowledge of workplace safety regulations and machine-specific safety protocols; ability to properly use personal protective equipment; understanding of lockout/tagout procedures; and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Strong attention to detail and focus; reliability and punctuality; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
