Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Principal Architect (Executive Director) to lead a defined area of architecture within the Digital Workflows Product Line. You will drive adoption of technical methods across teams, guiding multiple departments and executives toward firmwide architectural objectives.

You will apply your enterprise and solution architecture experience to shape strategy, mentor leaders, and champion a culture of innovation while operating across business and technology domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise / Solution architecture in development and/or infrastructure organizations.
• Advanced ServiceNow certifications (CTA, CMA, etc.).
• Java, Database, Data Warehouse experience.
• Ability to think big and challenge conventional tech refresh/hype.
• Strong leadership and negotiation with business and technical groups.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leads architecture and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide objectives.
• Directs multiple areas with strategic transactional focus.
• Provides leadership to teams across platforms, divisions, and lines of business.
• Interfaces with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus.
• Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations.
• Champions diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect within the firm.
