Job summary

State Street in Dublin is seeking an ETF Software Developer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data quality and data delivery applications as part of an agile scrum team within the ETF Servicing function.

You will work with a global development group on cutting-edge financial data products, applying Java-based multi-tier solutions, cloud technologies, and database tooling to deliver reliable ETF data services.

Qualifications

• Commercial software development, proficiency in multi-tier solutions
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Knowledgeable of commercial software development
• Professional PL/SQL and Java development experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to gather financial sector requirements
• Ability to collaborate in an agile environment
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug ETF software enhancements within an agile Scrum team
• Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs using cloud computing tools and related languages
• Write unit and automation tests to ensure high quality end products
• Participate in code reviews
• Engage actively in Scrum ceremonies and agile processes
• Triangulate production issues by reviewing code and logs and implement solutions

We are looking for an ETF Software Developer reporting directly to the ETF Platform Owner. You will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data quality and data delivery applications as part of an agile scrum team, working with a strong global development group to build challenging, cutting-edge products in the financial domain.

The team you will be joining is part of the Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) Servicing function, a capability that is vital to the company as it enables the timely, reliable, and scalable delivery of critical financial data that supports core ETF operations, reporting, and decision-making.

What you will be responsible for

As Software Developer you will

• Work independently to develop, test, and debug ETF software enhancements and solutions within the business and technical problem domains
• Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using cloud computing tools and other related software engineering languages
• Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality end product
• Participate in code reviews
• Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed and come up with solutions
