F&M Hurley Plant Hire (Schull) Limited t/a Gloun Stone Quarries in Schull, Co. Cork, Ireland, is seeking an Excavator Operator for full-time/contract work. The role offers 39 hours per week with a salary of €36,605 per year and immediate start.

Responsibilities include operating 360 excavators, site prep, and coordinating with trades and subcontractors in a safety-focused environment. Requirements include 1-2 years in a similar role, eligibility to drive in Ireland, strong safety and quality

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Eligibility to drive in Ireland.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good level of English communication.
• Ability to work under pressure. Health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operating 360 excavators.
• Driving Manual Handling.
• Trenching, digging, grading, and site preparation.
• Working around live services and in tight spaces when required.
• Following all site safety procedures.
• Collaborate with tradesmen, general operatives, and subcontractors.
