Job summary

Walsh Plant & Groundworks Limited, based in Crohane, Ballinascarthy, Co. Cork, is seeking two Excavator Operators to join the team.

You will operate a range of excavators, perform trenching, grading, drainage and foundation works, and contribute to safe, efficient project delivery. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience, strong machine control and safe operating practices, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team to achieve high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating both small and large excavators.
• Excellent machine control and safe operating practices.
• Reliable, hardworking, and delivers quality work.
• Can work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of excavators.
• Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, levelling, drainage, and foundation works.
• Carry out daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Work safely in accordance with company procedures and health and safety legislation.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and ground workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
