Dean Group in Glasson Lakehouse is seeking an Events & Wedding Executive to drive weddings and event sales on site in Ireland. You will coordinate from enquiry to execution, ensuring exceptional guest experience and seamless delivery.

You will build relationships with clients, upsell packages, and work with the hotel team to achieve targets while receiving full on-site training for weddings and events.

We're currently seeking an Events & Wedding Executive to join our team in Glasson Lakehouse.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Driving events and wedding business through proactive & reactive sales
• Coordinating events & weddings from initial enquiry to successful event execution
• Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the process

• Collaborating with the hotel sales team to achieve business targets

Job Purpose

The Events & Wedding Executive is responsible for managing and delivering exceptional events & weddings at Glasson Lakehouse, ensuring each corporate client and wedding couple's visions are brought to life with precision and care. From first enquiry to the final farewell, this role ensures every detail is planned, communicated, and executed to the highest standard.

In addition to managing the operational elements of events & weddings, the Event & Wedding Executive plays a key role in driving event & wedding sales, building relationships with customers, and representing Glasson Lakehouse at promotional events.

Full on-site training will be provided for the right candidate with a passion for weddings and exceptional guest service.

Role Responsibilities

Event & Wedding Sales & Enquiries

• Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries, logging all activity in the booking system
• Drive sales through proactive follow-ups, show-arounds, and promotional activities
• Attend and represent Glasson Lakehouse at workshops, exhibitions, and events to generate leads

Planning & Coordination

• Manage event & wedding bookings from enquiry through to execution
• Conduct detailed planning meetings with couples and corporate clients, confirming all requirements and expectations
• Arrange and host wedding and menu tastings from start to finish
• Prepare and update all menus, floor plans, and table plans as required

Revenue Maximisation

• Identify and upsell additional services, products, and packages to increase event revenue
• Work in conjunction with the hotel sales team to meet and exceed sales targets

Event Delivery & Handover

• Meet and greet clients during the event phase and oversee smooth handover to the operations team
• Ensure all event details are communicated clearly to the operations team for flawless execution

Administration & Reporting

• Prepare contracts, process deposits, and manage billing for all weddings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bookings, enquiries, and availability
• Provide regular reporting as required by management
• Updating Function Sheets

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in wedding or event coordination preferred (hospitality experience advantageous)
