Job summary

The Merrion Hotel in Dublin is seeking a Turndown Assistant to join the housekeeping team on a part-time, evening schedule. You will service guest rooms, corridors and public areas, stock trolleys, and complete cleaning checklists with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Flexibility to work 5:30pm–10:30pm across four to five days per week is essential. The role offers strong training, welcoming team culture, and opportunities to contribute to a luxury hotel’s high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong guest focus and communication skills.
• Fluent English required for spoken and written communication.
• Flexibility to work evenings and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Service guest rooms, corridors and public areas to the standard defined in the departmental manual.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping trolleys to ensure readiness.
• Complete cleaning checklists as required by the supervisor.
• Handle all lost property and report it to the on-duty senior staff.
• Communicate effectively with the on-duty supervisor and other team members.
