Job summary

Talbot Hotel Cork is seeking an experienced Evening Porter to join our growing team. You will arrive on time in proper uniform, uphold four-star standards, and ensure guests receive a warm, personalised welcome.

Responsibilities include assisting front office, setting up meeting rooms, delivering room service when required, maintaining hygiene, and upselling Talbot Collection products and services. You will work in Cork's vibrant hospitality environment, contributing to a memorable guest

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or hotel front-of-house.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Committed to high hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Arrive for work on time and in proper uniform, and adhere to clocking procedures.
• Set up, break down and reset meeting rooms according to weekly function sheets.
• Liaise with front office regarding guest requirements and requests.
• Deliver room service when required and assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain high hygiene, safety and four-star standards at all times.
• Upsell Talbot Collection products and services where possible.
