Job summary

Adare Manor is seeking a Kitchen Steward (Evening Shift) to join our Culinary team on a permanent contract. Shift: 4:30pm–1:00am.

You will help maintain safety, cleanliness and smooth running of our kitchens, supporting chefs in delivering world-class dining experiences. We're looking for a positive, reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Positive, reliable and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work evening shifts.
• Experience in kitchen, stewarding or hospitality is advantageous but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen, stewarding and back-of-house areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure a continuous supply of clean crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware and kitchen utensils.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to the highest standard.
• Assist with the safe disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures.
• Support the Culinary team by ensuring kitchen areas remain clean, safe and fully operational throughout service.
• Maintain floors, walls, equipment and workstations in line with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Assist with the movement and storage of deliveries and stock when required.
• Ensure all chemicals and cleaning products are used, stored and handled safely.
• Adhere to all HACCP, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Culinary team.
• Carry out all reasonable duties as requested by management.
