Job summary

Adare Manor in Ireland invites a Kitchen Steward on a fixed-term basis, working 10:00am–6:30pm. You’ll support our culinary team by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and organisation across kitchens and back-of-house, handling waste, and assisting with deliveries.

A background in kitchen or hospitality helps; full training provided. Join a luxury resort renowned for Forbes Five-Star status and Michelin 3 Keys.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, stewarding or hospitality environment, although full training will be provided.
• Strong awareness of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a well-organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, cookware and crockery thoroughly and efficiently
• Ensuring all equipment and supplies are stored safely and correctly
• Supporting the Culinary team with the smooth running of daily kitchen operations
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with established procedures
• Maintaining clean and organised wash-up and storage areas
• Following all food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Assisting with receiving and organising kitchen deliveries when required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the exceptional standards of Adare Manor

As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a Kitchen Steward to join our team on a fixed term basis, working a regular shift from 10.00am to 6.30pm.

About The Role

As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchens. Working closely with our talented Culinary team, you will help maintain the exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene expected throughout Adare Manor. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a busy, energetic team and takes pride in creating a clean, safe and well-organised working environment.
