Kepak Group in Ballymahon, Longford, is seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to join our evening shift on a permanent basis. The role coordinates, administers, and implements on-site health and safety projects and systems.

You will support the H&S Officer, develop and enforce safety practices, and train site personnel in essential software and risk management tools. This position offers a Company Pension, education support, refer-a-friend, bike-to-work, long service awards, and subsidised

Formación

• Ideally should hold a certificate or diploma in Safety and Health; this can be facilitated by the business
• 1 year post-qualification experience in safety and health, ideally in food/manufacturing environments
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives and challenge the status quo
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and other common software tools

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for H&S project coordination, maintenance and management
• Assist in development and implementation of effective H&S systems, policies and procedures on site
• Assist in enforcing effective implementation of H&S practices
• Facilitate, support and advise the H&S risk management teams on site
• Train site personnel in department software applications vital for their functions (risk management applications and spreadsheets)
• Assist Site H&S officer to undertake and review relevant assessments for operations on site
• Liaise with safety personnel regarding site accident, incident and near misses reporting and investigations ensuring corrective and preventative actions are formulated and implemented
• Accident investigations gathering evidence such as documentation and photographs
• Update and upload accident investigations reports
