Job summary

Kepak Group, a leading food company with multiple sites across Ireland, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Officer at Clonee, Co Meath. You will champion safety culture, ensure compliance with H&S and environmental legislation, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

You’ll work with managers and staff to deliver training, inspections, audits, and KPI reporting, helping Kepak achieve its safety and sustainability goals while supporting a positive, productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an EHS role within manufacturing, construction, engineering, logistics, or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Health & Safety management system implementation and maintenance.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments and investigations.
• Monitor compliance with health & safety legislation and environmental permits.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee training programmes.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and KPI dashboards for management.
