Job summary

Manor Farm in Shercock, County Cavan, seeks a Green Room Operator for the evening shift (4pm–12am). This full-time, permanent role involves receiving, scanning, and categorising product, by-products, returns and waste with strict adherence to health and safety procedures.

You will maintain accurate records for mass balance and reporting, and support a busy production team while following site procedures. Training is provided and reliability is valued.

Qualifications

• Reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence completing scans and records accurately.
• English language skills (speak, read and write) are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming product, by-products, returns and waste from production areas.
• Scan every item using the correct Green Room code and record quantities or weights accurately.
• Identify the correct waste category and maintain strict segregation between Cat 1 and Cat 3 materials.
• Keep clear and reliable records to support mass balance, finance and management reporting.
• Spot and report missing scans, incorrect codes, quantity discrepancies or segregation issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised work area, including bins, dolavs, pallets and walkways.
• Report hazards, damaged equipment and containers promptly.
• Follow all site Health & Safety, hygiene, waste-handling and operating procedures.
• Complete accurate end-of-shift checks and handovers.
