Job summary

Ballyfin Demesne in Co. Laois, Ireland, invites applications for a Food & Beverage Assistant on an evening shift. This full-time role supports our renowned one Michelin-star restaurant, delivering attentive service to guests in a luxurious country-house setting.

We provide training, development opportunities and generous employee benefits. The role runs five days over seven, typically 3/4pm to close, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Michelin-star restaurant is advantageous.
• Two years of serving experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Excellent customer service and a passion for food and beverage.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, storing and up keeping of table and glassware.
• Setting up tables for the various service periods.
• Welcome guests in the appropriate manner.
• Serve food and beverages to guests with recommendations.
• Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests.
• Clean tables, complete closing duties and restock tableware and other supplies.
