Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Butchery Supervisor for a busy operation in Ballyfermot, Dublin. Salary €45,000 per annum with Evening shifts 3:00pm–11:30pm.

You will supervise the day-to-day butchery operations, lead the team on evening shifts, ensure product quality and HACCP standards, and manage stock to control wastage in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong butchery background, supervisory experience, and the ability to motivate a team in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy butchery operation with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team during evening shifts.
• Commitment to high standards of product quality, presentation and freshness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the butchery department.
• Lead and support the butchery team during evening shifts.
• Ensure excellent standards of product quality, presentation and freshness.
• Oversee stock levels, rotation and waste control.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained.
• Support with ordering and stock management.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
• Ensure production and workload are managed effectively throughout the shift.
