Job summary

Freudenberg Medical Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the evening shift production team. You will ensure safety, quality, GMP compliance, productivity and waste targets are met while coordinating the daily schedule and resources.

You will coach and develop operators, monitor KPIs, drive lean initiatives (5S, problem-solving) and support new product introductions, changes, validations and quality investigations. Strong leadership and regulatory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing team (2–3 years preferred).
• Comfortable with evening shift ownership of production.
• Engineering/Science qualification advantageous.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing (medical devices/pharma) desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 or FDA QMS is a plus.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the evening shift production team, meeting safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Plan resources and manage daily production schedules to meet manufacturing and customer needs.
• Train, coach and develop Operators, building capability and ensuring standard work.
• Monitor performance and KPIs, taking action to improve efficiency and quality.
• Drive Lean improvements, including 5S, problem solving and waste reduction.
• Ensure processes and documentation comply with validated procedures and quality requirements.
• Identify and escalate equipment or process issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support New Product Introductions, change controls and validation activities.
• Support CAPA, audits and investigations as part of the quality program.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork and accountability.
